Household Economic Decision Making includes a single multi-response item which asks women about their ability to make economic decisions such as taking out a loan or buying goods for business. This measure was included as part of The Status of Women Survey, which aims to capture individual experiences of empowerment after participation in a microcredit program. The survey was conducted by the Asian Development Bank in 2006.
