The Living Standards Measurement Survey – Tanzania: Subjective Welfare and Crime uses 8 items from the 2014-2015 Tanzania National Panel Survey, which is a nationally representative, multi-dimensional survey conducted across Tanzania to monitor poverty dynamics and study welfare transitions. Afterschool Connectedness is an 8-item subscale of the Collective Efficacy Among Children Scale (CE-ACS). This measure is used to evaluate the degree to which elementary school children participating in an afterschool program feel safe and close to program staff and other children (social cohesion). Individual-Level Abortion Stigma (ILAS)-Nigeria is a 16-item measure of individual stigma among women who have previously had an abortion. The data is collected with an interviewer-administered questionnaire adapted from the ILAS Scale previously validated in the United States. Different aspects of stigma among women seeking elective abortion captured by the scale include judgement, shame, disappointment, support systems, and guilt.
