Self-injection Social Norms Scale is a 4-item measure of the social norms and acceptability surrounding self-injection of the contraceptive method of subcutaneous depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA-SC).

The mean score of all items is calculated for the total score (range 1-5). Higher scores indicate more positive social norms towards DMPA-SC self-injection.
