The Demographic and Health Survey Phase 8 (DHS-8): Views on Female Genital Cutting includes 4 items from the Female Genital Cutting (FGC) Module to measure both male and female views on FGC. Aspects of these items include whether the respondent has heard of FGC, whether their religion requires FGC, and their views on the continuance of the practice. Navigational aspects (i.e. skip-out patterns and next question sequences) have not been included on this page but can be viewed here.
