Harassment and Control by Electronic Tools (HCE-2)

Harassment and Control by Electronic Tools (HCE-2) is a 2-item measure of intimate partner violence (IPV) in the form of perceptions of harassment and control via means such as calls, texts and emails. This tool was validated among a group of young adult females in Spain who had a partner or contact with a former partner of the opposite sex within the past year.

Scoring Procedures

Item scores are summed. A positive case of cyber harassment is a score of 1 or greater.
