Living Standards Measurement Survey 2016-2017 - Malawi: Time Use and Labor

The Time Use & Labor measure includes 39 items from the Fourth Integrated Malawi Household Survey 2016 - 2017. The items include questions pertaining to the time allocated for unpaid household work, exchange or free labor, short-term rural labor (known as Ganyu in Malawi), wage employment and other income-generating activities such as farming, livestock and non-agricultural businesses. The Household questionnaire for the survey is developed by the Malawi Government National Statistical Office to collect information about living conditions and identify the consequences for households of current and proposed government policies.
