The Registering Property measure uses 4 items from the 2019 World Bank Doing Business Survey-a project to measure the regulations and enforcement of these regulations on small and medium sized companies in the private sector of 190 countries. The Registering Property module asks about laws regarding the ownership and taxation of property, and any difference in ownership rights by sex of the individual.
